Purpose
Objectives
-to care for orphans and kids who lack the oppurtunity to lead a healthy lifestyle
-to create a safe, healthy, hard-working, Christian environment for children, protecting their rights and guiding them to a relationship with Jesus
-to provide free housing, education, clothing, food and other essentials to all children in need
-to be an independent, stateless children's home that is self-sustaining and not a burden on society
-to provide scholarships and support for all post-secondary students (No-Needy Project)
-to support educational, vocational and healthcare development projects and local disaster relief efforts
Why do kids come to Sila Home?
-their families live in isolated hilltribes where there are no oppurtunities to be educated
-their families are involved with abusing or distributing drugs and/or children who are abuse drugs and/or gang activity
-they are at a high risk of being sold into prostitution
-their parents have passed away because of AIDS or other circumstances
-they live in detrimental poverty
-they have been abandoned by their parents and relatives are unable to care for them/too elderly
